Symbolic is an open source management platform that allows private and public organizations to automate the management of large data centers across a centralized console. A web-based application, it allows users across multiple sites to create and share scripts, operational workflows, customized forms, manage processes, and enhance reporting.
Symbolic includes open source tools to design forms, assign roles and users, create routing rules, interconnect with third-party systems including Cobbler, Func, Puppet, Puppet-Team, Satellite, Spacewalk through a service-orientated architecture (SOA), and to map an individual process quickly and easily.
