First of all the type of machine: physical if is a 'real single' machine; host is physical machine that contains one or many virtual machines; guest is a virtual machine (you have to select also the correct host machine(s)) ; cluster-node is a machine used as cluster node. Then, as we have said, if you select guest as type for your machine, you need to set witch machines host your virtual one. Adding this characteristic is easy with drag&drop function: you have get a machine contained in the right box and drag into left box. The list of machines on the right of your page contains only host machine, so you need to set at least one machine as host before you can add to guest machine. Always in this page you find Tag properties (see chapter Tag to have information about them) that you can add to you machine. So, in this way, you can simply grouping your machine to launch an operation easy on multiple machines and, naturally, to order a long machine list.
If you have been set a group of machines with type cluster-node you need to add a cluster to Symbolic and associate with nodes previously created. To do this simply open cluster section from the administration menu and insert name for you cluster, type and list of machines.
